From the time that I can remember, I knew the power of a well told story. Carefully crafted words should never be underestimated for their ability to take the reader behind the scenes and show them why you do what you do and how you got here.
Your story will draw people to you, cause them to identify with your message and encourage your customers to trust what you have to say.
My passion for exposing the heart behind the vision is what caused me to walk away from a long career in the medical field that started in the kitchen of a local hospital, led to my promotion as a medical secretary, and ended in an outpatient dialysis unit where I worked as a hemodialysis patient care technician before returning to college and getting my B.S. in journalism. You can read more about that here.
It was in college that I began working as a reporter for a local newspaper where I met and wrote the stories of community leaders and champions for change. And during those years, I helped to bring out the histories, and the journeys, and the future plans of dynamic organizations that readers had once known little about.
The stories I wrote made people care, and caused readers to take a closer look, only now they were equipped with the understanding of an intention.
My work as a freelance writer also includes my work with clients from around the globe including the U.S., Vietnam, Anguilla, and Australia and the ability to tailor each message to a diverse audience. And my numerous volunteer and life experiences have only served to increase my perspective.
I would be happy to do the same for you by writing strategic web content, corporate and personal profiles, and interesting blog posts for your business.
